Product Information

Protection, comfort and reliability: The Transalper mountain shoe for men is a lightweight all-rounder for alpine terrain.

After work do you like to put in a quick run on your local trails? On weekends do you head off to the mountains for a longer outing? Perhaps that’s even topped off with a little scrambling at the summit or a via ferrata? You prefer lightness and efficiency for your endeavors but still like to be well-protected? Then the Transalper is your shoe of choice.

This mid-cut outdoor shoe offers your feet optimum protection and still features impressive lightness and a comfortable fit. At the same time, the Transalper is extremely durable and sturdy, making it a very reliable partner on demanding terrain. The TPU toe cap protects the foot from rocks and impact and hinders wear-and-tear of the material from scrapes. Together with the new quick lacing system, the intelligent construction at the forefoot offers optimal support and a precise fit without binding. Thanks to extra hooks at the cuff, this shoe can be snugged tighter for sections of scrambling. That guarantees more stability when you need to climb quickly and safely. Additionally, the time-tested Heel Preloader and a diagonal heel reinforcement lends firm and safe hold at the rear foot.

The Vibram outsole with a Climbing Zone wins points with its ideal balance of grip and traction. That ensures you get perfect grip as well as dynamic movement both on rock and soft surfaces. Laces can be stowed in a stretch fabric lace cover so you can avoid any trips or falls. The Transalper is rounded out with a lightweight Ortholite footbed enabling maximum energy return at the forefoot. Plus, it's made with 98 percent recycled materials. The U-shaped construction at the rear of the foot bed guarantees more stability on fast downhills.

Transalper, At home on alpine terrain.
