Questions

Question

Hi, I have a 26.5 fischer Ranger backcountry boot. I have two questions: will the 26.5 boot length fit the mounted binding? Is the boot comapatable with the salomon binding? Thanks for your time. Drew

Answer

Hi, thank you for your questions! Unfortunately, without knowing the boot sole length measurement of your particular boot, we cannot say with certainty whether or not they will fit with the bindings at their current settings. The boot sole length that these bindings are set to is about 310mm. We recommend always having your bindings set up with a certified binding technician. Your boots should be compatible with these bindings. We hope this helps!

Question

Quest. #1---My 26.5 boot length is 305mm. Quest #2--- Do you know if the Fischer Ranger Free ski boot is compatible with your salomon binding? thanks again.

Answer

Hi, thank you for your questions! We recommend having a certified binding technician make the necessary adjustments to ensure safety. 305mm is far enough away from the approximate BSL measurement of the bindings that this would likely be necessary. If your Fischer Ranger Free ski boot has tech pin compatibility, then they are compatible with the Salomon MTN Pure Tour Bindings. We hope this helps!

Question

Which U-springs are installed on the bindings (expert-men-women)? Do the additional U-springs come with the skis?

Answer

Hi, thank you for your question! The springs installed in the bindings are not labeled, although we consider it to be safe to assume they are either the expert or men's u-springs. We hope this helps!

Question

I hate to be nit picky and bother you again with another question. Would you know offhand the wight , in grams of one ski and binding? Thanks again Drew

Answer

Hi, it's not a problem at all, thank you for your question! Having just weighed the ski, it comes to about 2064 grams. We hope this helps!
