Purchased a bunch of these lights about 1 year ago for family's emergency packs. These 4 were extra. Packed away in storage since purchase. Never been used. Battery powered. Takes AAA batteries. (Not included)

I have one that I use often and it is an excellent source of light. If I leave one on at base camp with the red light on I can always find my way back to camp in the dark. These are handy little safety lights.
